# Dedicated Pet Travel

Charter Options Available

When Commercial Isn’t an Option — Fly Private.
Private or shared charter flights are available for larger dogs, multiple pets, and specialized routes where commercial travel simply won’t work. Enjoy the privacy, flexibility, and personalized care of a private aircraft experience—a premium service designed for those who need more than a standard flight.

A private charter gives your pet a more focused and flexible travel experience. A shared charter provides the same luxuries with the cost being shared 3-4 other ways.
A More Personal Way to Travel For Your Pet
This option is built for journeys that need a customized route, schedule, or level of privacy. Your pet travels with dedicated attention rather than adapting to a widely shared space. I accompany your pet the entire way. They’ll never be alone. I will coordinate the details with you in advance, including pickup, drop-off, timing, and any important care instructions.
The experience is calm and organized from the first conversation through the final handoff. It can be especially helpful when your pet has unique travel needs, when several pets are traveling together, or when the destination and timing require a more tailored plan. I keep communication clear so you know what to expect at each stage.

How It Works
Share Your Plans: Tell me your locations, preferred timing, number of pets, and travel considerations.Build The Route: I review the details with you and outline a charter plan suited to the journey.Confirm The Handoff: We finalize the schedule and coordinate a smooth pickup and delivery experience.
and the best part is the value. You only pay for your pet’s part of the itinerary. Which means you are not paying for the Flight Nanny to/from home base.

## FAQ

### Do I need to provide a carrier?

PAWsome Pet Transport provides use of a carrier while the pet is in our care. Everything that we may need to use for your pet is sanitized or new.

### What are the requirements for my pet to fly?

Domestic Travel Requirements
Age Limits: Pets must be at least 8 weeks old for most domestic flights. Health Certificates: Major U.S. airlines often do not demand a health certificate for domestic cabin travel, but local destination states may require them upon arrival. Behavior and Fitness: Pets must be odorless, harmless, and able to remain safely inside an approved carrier under the seat the entire time.
International Travel Requirements
Health Certificates: A licensed veterinarian must issue and sign an official health certificate (often within 10 days of travel).Vaccinations: Proof of an up-to-date rabies vaccination is mandatory.Age and Microchip: Dogs entering the U.S. from abroad must be at least 6 months old, microchipped, and appear healthy. Other countries (like EU nations) have strict rules requiring microchips, specific rabies waiting periods, and older minimum ages.

### General Health Rules

No Sedation: The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and airlines advise against sedating pets, because high altitudes increase risks of breathing and heart problems. Airlines may refuse a tranquilized animal.
